This guide could use updating. When it talks about pruning it says all upward growth is stopped. It is not stopped it is stunted, in the long run the apical dominance will resume in the branches of the next node. People are getting the impression they can completely stop their plant from growing upwards after reading this guide which is not true.

Thanks for the suggestion Hero.
I could finally put my cultivation contributor privilidges to good use.
Everyone re-read over this, I edited several sections.
I even added my techniques to the "pruining" section.
It seems pretty flawless now Grin

Thanks for the pruning article! I'm a new grower so this really helped me alot.  I do have one quick question about pruning that was never really addressed in the article.   If I make any cuts to my Salvia plant would I need to use a tree paste or tree gum to seal up the wound?  If so, what products would you recommend?  I would hate to risk infection through the open wounds.

Personally, I have never used any paste or anything, and I've took lots of cuttings.  I just cut it, and forget about it. Never had any issues.
