cookie jar humidity tent

I just started using a cookie jar as a humidity tent for my salvia. Im thinking about lining it with plastic...i know glass retains and holds heat much better than plastic does...so it should be really great for the plant. In case ur wondering how I can put a cookie jar over my plant...its in a 30" tray....so yea lol..plus its young.

Hmm, I'd be curious to know how well it would work in just the glass jar.  I think the only thing I'd be concerned about would be getting the plant enough air.  Seems like it'd be a pretty tight seal.

I've used a glass jar (actually, it was an upside down plant terrarium) as a humidity tent and it worked fine, but I would also uncover the plant every day for a few minutes to mist it as well as the inside of the jar.
