I get 12 hours of natural sunlight and 12 hours of darkness where I live.   If I extend the hours of light with a 6500k CFL to 18/6 or 16/8, will my newly planted clones grow faster?

Has anyone tried something like this?

Yes, Once it has recovered from being transplanted it should love it. How many watts is it? 20w or more is generally very good for 1 plant. I have my 2 plants under a 14000k 130w lamp and the form branches at every node they love it so much.  130w for only 2 plants is a bit over the top though lol.

Also my other plants use natural light for 12 hours a day and get indirect sunlight and then the timer switches the lights on when the sun starts weakening. You do notice the difference.

Yes, that's fine. You should see a good amount of growth once it has recovered from the transplanting.

This is not a shipped plant.  I cloned it myself from the mother.  I planted the rooted clone in miracle grow soil three days ago and it seems to have already accepted it's new environment as the main leaf and stem has already perked up.  I set up a light timer to add 4 extra hours of light (16/8).

Oh right, Once it has sufficient roots then it will start to sprout like mad.
