Hi I have some little cut'n's that have grown to 1' & are showing lateral branches.

I am wondering if I should trim them or wait until the branches can get out from under the top leafs.

At this time the top leafs on the plants average a cluster of 8.5 top leafs (this includes the little leafs that start on the top of the main stem).

Suggestions would be great!!  I will try pics when I get a chance.

It would be really cool to find out from someone in the know what would be a good point to start to grow lateral brances.

Most of the shoots on the side are not as green and cant get as much light.   Which makes me think it maybe better to cut the shoots, but I am just a novice.

I dont see need to grow lateral shoots if they are sure to die off.

I dont know if this is just an early stage and I should let the lats die off...or if they would likely survive..or maybe I should cut them and wait for later growth to attempt to grow them??

Well it completely depends on what you are using the plant for. If you want more leaves, cut them. but if you want it to grow naturally, leave them be. If you want more plants, cut them and root them.
