My Poor Plant

My dad is staying at my house for a little while till he gets a new place to live and all he keeps doing is talking about my plants, saying things like why am i growing them inside and that they are a type of marijuana and we were going to get into trouble for having a look a like substance etc. well i came home today from work and one of my brand new plants i just bought off this site had its grow light off so i thought hmm thats odd and plugged it in. when the light turned on i noticed the soil looked kind of wet but i had not watered it in a day or two. I looked closer and saw light brownness forming toward the bottom about a 1/2 inch from the soil level. when i felt the soil my hand felt cold like something was evaporating off my finger, so i smelt the soil and almost choked because there was such a strong stench of rubbing alcohol.

i immediately took it out of the soil and watered it down were the roots are a few of the roots were brownish but most of them were still white, after watering to get rid of any alcohol left i put it in perlight . I am soo fucking  pissed right now. When i asked my dad he denied it saying "Alcohol ? what kind of alcohol ? Why would somebody pour alcohol on a plant? " im sure it was him i checked my rubbing alcohol bottle in the bathroom and it was almost all gone,

i hope my plant makes it i think i got to it just in time. If the brownness moves up or gets worse i will have to go up one node and cut it to try to re root the plant.

If you smell rubbing alcohol, then it is.  Alcohol is very volatile and thus has a strong scent. That is a really fucked up thing to do.  Good luck man.

i think i caught it close to when it was done bc alcohol evaporates quick and when i got home the soil was still wet .

It's sad how close minded some people can be. Does your dad even know what Cannabis looks like? Make your dad read some information about Salvia. It's the least he can do before he tells you what is and isn't good for you. Good luck to your plant. We all hope for the best.

You have no choice now. Toss it and beat the fuck out of your dad or make his welcome a living hell. Pull pranks, invite obnoxious friends, completely fuck up his shit for he has broke your rules. That is DON'T FUCK WITH MY SHIT in my house. ESPECIALLY when he is living at YOUR house. You had to do the same in his he should do the same.

In all is truth, if it was me I would spit and piss in his food(Pull a WAITING). Put shaving cream in his hand and use a feather to fuck with his nose. Put hand in warm water. Put a piece of fresh cat shit in his shoe. Jack off in the milk so when he drinks it it's all bad for him. Throw a couple sleeping pills in his drink. Paint his face while he's sleeping. Epsom Salt while he's sleeping. He just killed part of me if he did that to my plant which btw IS NOT illegal and having a plant inside with a grow light IS NOT illegal nor suspicious. YOU YOURSELF is suspicious. I know 20-70 year old people who grow in there basement. Cabbage, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Watermelon, Pumpkin. Tell him to STFU and let your frustration out on him. Or you could just break his leg and make him not walk for a while.

Revenge is never the answer. That shit can escalate and pull a family apart. You need to tell your father clearly what is, and isn't accepted at your house. Make sure he knows what your rules are. You are doing him a favor by letting him stay at your place and he needs to be respectful of your wishes. Let him know that you will be growing these plants and that he is not allowed to mess with them. If he wants to stay with you then he needs to follow your rules since it is your house. If he isn't respectful of your wishes, then you shouldn't let him stay there. This needs to be stated very clearly to him.

the way nickelz was talking about it like his dad knew, and he makes it seem like he pulls this stupid shit all of the time. the way nickelz is acting is like this isn't the first time his dad pissed him off. if i were you nickelz, i would've just kicked him out. he would come home to his belongings all in the front yard and the locks changed.

karma would bitch slap anyone who threw out their own father just because of a difference of opinion.  Your father has been disrespectful. Just let him know his boundaries and tell him your affairs are none of his concern. Don't drop low enough to pull "pranks" to try to get even. If the problem could not be solved by speaking things out, then perhaps it would be time for him to find a new place. Family does not ever really go away, so don't just send him along with harsh feelings. It may be something you will regret later in life. I would say if any true harm came from this mishap, make him pay for it. Get the "two for one" deal and double up from this site.  Otherwise I would say just keep unsafe chemicals in a "childproof" container so that this won't happen again. Do as you will, I would just fear the outcome if I acted rashly without considering what I would do. This is only what I feel should be done and any decision on action is left up to you.

You're right. Honestly this prick sounds like he would rat you out if he was backed into a corner. Tell em where he stands in your house and make it clear that if he ever pulls some shit like that again you'll give him 20 dollars and boot in the fucking arse.
