Alrighty, so I want to begin my salvia growing by buying a couple plants from this site but I was curious about the growth rate of Salvia Divinorum. How quickly does it grow and is it worth the extra $10 for a few more inches off the bat?

That all depends on how long you plan on growing Salvia for. I want to grow it for the rest of my life so I really didn't care if my plants took longer to get started. I would pay the extra money to get a few more inches if you want your plant to grow fast quickly. But as I am finding with my grow, the setup, temp, humidity, lighting, etc can play a HUGE factor in how well your plants grow and if you don't have this right you will be waiting for your plants to grow for a while anyway.

Make sure you have your grow setup situated before you order the plants, it will be much easier. And as Salvia grows bigger, it grows faster. So if you want to get a head start, then buy one a few inches bigger. Sea Mac on here can get his plants to grow incredibly fast..... Like an inch a day almost!

SeaMac has recently been averaging 1" a day on some of his plants.
