I didn't do as much research as I should have when I first received my Salvia Divinorum; however, I am learning. I'm going to put, basically, my entire story, thoughts, and where I plan on going.

First off I bought my plant off of ebay. Since I always fear I've been yanked here is a picture, experts tell me what you think.

Upon receiving the plant I transplanted it into some slightly larger, temporary, containers. Immediatly after that I stuck it in my bay window and began to water the shit out of it. (First error)

Several days later I noticed spots appearing on my plant, did a quick search found this. Once I get home I plan on taking care of that.

I bought a florescent light with a plant & aquarium bulb and a timer. I set the timer to kick on the light when it got dark out. (Second Error) Once I get home I plan on moving the plant out of the bay window. Question for you guys what is the optimal amount of time the plant should receive light/shade? Also would it be better to give it say if it was a 4/20 Sun/Shade ratio give it 30 minuets Light 2 hour shade 30m,2h,30m,2h, so on and so forth?

I'm planing on building an indoor green house, roughly 3'x3'x3 in size with a Florescent Plant and Aquarium bulb set to a timer as a source of light. I plan also on having a small humidifier in the greenhouse and keeping the humidity at 100%.

Is there anything I should know? I'm looking for rapid growth but plan on keeping the plants under 3ft in size.

They look authentic although its hard to tell without a close up of the stem. 4/20 should be good for starting out and helping them get over shipping shock but eventually you'll want to bump that up. Its not necessary to have it alternate that quickly even. 4 on 20 off would work too. I'd also let them dry out (never completely but until the soil is no longer damp) and not water them for at least 4/5 days. A humidity tent is also a good idea when trying to get them over shipping shop whether its a clear plastic bag or a clear 2 liter bottle just to help increase its humidity. Also if they start wilting removing some of the lower and bigger leaves a pair at a time every couple hours should help it regain hydrostatic pressure.

Plants look good t me....100% is not needed, you will have trouble...think more of a way to  vent the greenhouse, air movement keeps pests at bay, and makes strong plants.

12/12.....16/8.......anything inbetween.....
