Will this work as a Humidity Chamber?

Okay, Hello!

I have a quick and probably really simple question. I have this:

The base (the green thing with the wire coming off it) is upside down in the picture. The top is to the left of it.

Can I use this as a humidity chamber? At least while the plant is still young (big plants wont fit in it)? Sorry if this is a really obvious question, I just want to make sure

Yeah it should work, just be sure you open it up every so ofter to let it breath when you mist them.

Is the hole to get fresh air in? Because the top bit (the clear bit) has vents you can open and close, thats what the green things on them are. Still need the hole?
