Hi I have bought some little cut'nz.

I initally had problems with catapillerz...and snails, but those are gone now and now what I have left seems to be recove'n, but on the average I do not see very green leafs.

Some there are a maybe 4 out of 40 that look like the kind of green leaf that I would hope for, but I dont know if they grew that way from my care, or if they came like that.  I had take'n a trip & had someone take care of the little ones for me.  I was not very concerned and still am not to concerned with the lighter color leafs as I was distracted by the bugs that were devour'n the babies, but now I see the light color leaf and suspect a better green leaf would help me got on track.

The cuttings are in 1.5" x 1.5" X 2.5 trays and on average they are 1.5- 3" tall.  I do not see any perlite or such in the soil and plan on go'n 50% x 50% as soon as my new larger trays get here.  1.5 weeks ago I added 10-10-10 MG fert & have not noticed over do'n that to much.

...ok so thats basicly where I am....  I am rather sure repot'n will help growth, but wonder what could be the deal with the sad color leafs.

Much Mahalo's to anyone that may help.

lol I am ashamed to post a pic rt now....the bugs really got to my greens.

I probably will post a picture when I get my new larger trays, repot and add perlite.  He heh that way I can keep the little stubs that may/may not survive the bugs out of the picture.

The snails were minimal, but dang those caterpillars really were hard to see untill they nearly whiped me out.  The shamefull part of it all was I suspected pests, but did not do anything untill I could see them.

All shame aside, I think Jarg is suggesting that you post a picture so that the knowledgeable folks here can help to diagnose your plants' problem(s).

That said, any chance you can stomach your pride and post a picture?

The story on the bigger one is at....http://www.salviasource.org/forum/cultivation/new-grow/0/

As I suspected the little ones were in pott'n soil & had a verrrrry little amount of those jell cap ferts.

The clone stems were around 1/4- 1/2" deep maximum.  Most more toward the shallow side.  Make'n me wonder hey isnt that a bit shallow even for a plant that likes aireeii soil? lol gotta love my write'n style.

These cut'ns were kept at -20% humidity for a week then 50-85% & 80 f for the last 2.5 weeks.

...So as you can see I did NOT use just pot'n soil I added perlite and will add some time release fert.

Some of the little cut'ns that have no leaf are mostly due to snails and monster catapillars!!!

So any thoughts...suggestions..or comments would be great.
