salvia desire malfunction :)

i havent done salvia since early january, and that was just 1 bowl of leaf to go to sleep to. the last time i used extract for an experience was probably december, i love taking car of my plants. but i have no desire to use it. its horrible, i guess... its funny. i would like to do it sort of, but when i get it in my head that im going to do it, i dont. its not like i had a bad trip or anything.
anyone else in the same boat. i know seamac doesnt do salvia a lot. but this is kind of wierd i cant diagnose my disinterest in one of my favorite things.

Yeah, this seems to be common. I definitely experience a similar dilema. Salvia is so fascinating to me but I do not have by any means a persistent desire to use it.

Its seems to be the perfect scenario for the plant. We love to cultivate it and learn about it but we dont often harvest.

I haven't taken extract since february, and my last leaf was 2 weeks ago, but other than that I'm pretty much in the same boat.  I guess I'm just waiting for the perfect time.

hmmm, most substance makes the majority of people want to use again. maybe this ia an argument for legislation. if there was a way to prove it.

yeah, i dont believe i have ever harvested, i just keep what falls off, and i trim the edges that turn brown. i have about 3 ounces right now from my plants, still. the plants give what you need, i dont think there is much reason to harvest for personal use.

cheveyo, i dont believe i have seen you around. i myself havent been up here a lot lately, either way i am pretty sure you have gotten this from many others, but welcome from me you chose the right forum. these guys up here are the greatest. very tight knit community. enjoy!

Well most abused substances, there are plenty of substances that just dont appeal to most, I think Salvia is one of them. The only reason it has this surge of usage is purely because its been a media fetish as a legal hallucinogen. I am certain most who use it typically dont enjoy themselves, although there are plenty others who use it properly and gain from it.

I'm the same way. Salvia, for me, has exasperated it's usefulness and it's sense of incredibility... It used to be magnificent... But all my trips these days are characterized by cartoonish useless situations, strange distortions in time, and a nauseating spiral feeling.

Not to say I don't mind to use it every once in awhile... But I feel that I've learned everythign I can from it. My goal now is to provide SAFE extracts to friends and customers, and to EDUCATE on it's pros and cons.

this is whats so neat to me, we have all used for fairly long periods of time. and yet all the senior members on the site as well as myself continue to cultivate, learn and educate about it. even though the psychoactive properties have rendered all but useless to my psyche i still find it an amazing subject to learn more about.

I've had a HELL of a time getting a phytosanitization certificate... Let alone getting stopped at the boarder with a green leafy substance

I feel it has to be really the right time and place to go in to the experience, and get something out of it. I have now few times tried to smoke it. But when smoking I feel like I don´t want to take the other puff, cause it doesn´t feel right to go in there in that moment. Maybe it´s just the smoking, and I should stick with quidding.

I only tried mine once.  Plain leaf and it did not do much for me.  I have enough to make some 5x, maybe I will give that a shot.  I guess I'm in it more for the grow than the high since I really have no desire to smoke it either.

So true I havent smoked it yet since i dont have a clear mind. im going through alot of stress right now but im due time after my baby gets big enough and i get over all the stuff happening.
