Smokin Salvia

Hey, my plant (I named it Piantabella) wasnt doing well so a couple of its leaves fell off so i decided to try it out.. I only got high for a little bit (laughter for no reason) but i didn't hallucinate.. I used a normal lighter and a bong.. I dont know if it was my mind playing tricks or was it actually a slight high from salvia?? Is there any way to have a better chance of the full effect??

that sounds about right for plain leaf. if you are looking to get high though, smoke something else. if you really want a good experience from plain leaf do a good amount, maybe .5-1 gram, and get your lights off or very dim, then make sure no interruptions or distractions are present. lay down. and wa la you have the best potential experience from your salvia leaves.

The minimum active dose for salvia IMO, is about 1.5mg of salvinorin A... Which is about half a gram of dried leaf, inhaled in about 1-2 minutes.

So, if you had less than 0.5g (a large leaf, which is the size of your hand when wet, dries to 0.4g) I would pass this up to the placebo effect... If you had about half a gram, then it's very possible that you felt something real.
