Smoking leaves before extract, to have a higher trip ?

Hi guys

I was thinking about something, when I had my level6 trip, I smoked before 10X which made me nothing, and after 1puf of 5X made my level6, so I was thinking about this: Smoking plain LEAVES some minuts before smoking extracts, to increase the trip without using more extract.

Is this a good idea ? Anynone here tryed this ?

You can do that, but you'll have to gun it.

IE: Take the plain leaves RIGHT before the extract, with no waiting time in between.

Yes, I'll try that, I think it could decrease the amount of extract needed, and leaves are a lot cheeper than extract, if it can do the job...

Plain leaves are awesome they give you a awesome buzz but you need to ghost your hit which means inhaling and not breathing for a good few seconds so the smoke is absorbed completely. when you blow out nothing will come out.!! Bongs are best for this allowing maximum hit relatively easily.

Well, remember, the effects should be felt relatively linear to the concentration you're smoking, IE: a hit of plain leaf followed by a hit of 40x... Well, that plain leaf ain't doing much, so...

I have read several anecdotes of people using plain leaf either quid or smoked around 20 minutes before smoking an extract to boost it up significantly.  Of course anecdotes aren't necessarily accurate, you would have to do a blind study amongst experienced salvia users using plain leaf for one group and an acetone-washed plain leaf for the placebo group.

But the explanation of these anecdotes was that the small amount of salvinorin was like a warning flag for their brain, telling it to get ready for the big dose.  Of course, the fact that they probably just sat quietly for twenty minutes probably had an enhancing effect also.  When I meditate first I get a bit stronger or more meaningful experience.
