I for one don't think I want a high-level trip again after last night.  I have also suffered severe night terrors from young childhood up into  my early twenties, and sometimes if I happen to awaken when the light in my room is just right all the objects in my room take on demonic forms and they even look like they come creeping towards me to do me in, but I have learned to just ignore it once I get past the initial five minutes of startle response (stiff, unmoving muscles).  On those nights I am always dead tired the next day, like I hadn't slept at all.
