I realize this is nowhere near enough to produce any kind of visuals or effects at all etc.. but I'm wondering if I'm sensitive to salvia. I was at a hookah bar with my buddy just chilling. It's nice and dark there with some music playing in the background. I was bored that night and was feeling pretty good, so I took some of my dried salvia leaf I've had for a while (I grow my own of course), and chewed it up. The dosage was probably 1 leaf or maybe a bit more. I let it sit under my tongue for a good while. I did swallow some of the extra saliva buildup though. At one point I remember feeling almost confused, then I experienced what I've widely read the "afterglow" effects are like. At first I felt somewhat confused.. and then started to relax. Music was intensified for a short while. And then I felt insanely good. At this point I understood what the term "euphoria" actually means.. as I don't believe I've actually had an experience to tie this word to a feeling. Albeit this feeling didn't last very long. I very much look forward to increasing my dosage to see where this plant takes me. I just harvested a few large leaves from my largest plant to give the nodes some light, so I'll be using those soon.  Wink

Any thoughts on this? Maybe it was all in my head.. but it sure didn't feel like it. I'm sensitive to other substances.. I just find it hard to believe that someone could feel something from such a small dosage of salvia. Thanks for any input guys. You rock

it's very possible. Although it was strange. When I closed my eyes I saw warm shifting light as if it were coming from above, but there were no lights in the room. It was very dark. And when I opened my eyes my vision seemed somewhat sparkly. Just thought I'd add to what I forgot in my first post. It's possible this was placebo, but I'm not terribly experienced with substances.

Someone laced that hookah.

Nah. Just joking.
I wonder if that would do anything. My friends bugging me for 1 leaf, because he thinks it'll give him effects alone.

I regulary chew one or two leaves. My leaves might be bigger then your. i have large plants but none the less, i dont generally feel anything like you experienced. But it does seem to effect my mood, in a positive way. I usally feel just uplifted and maybe a tinge relaxed.

i doubt it had anything to do with the salvia leaf. i think it was all in your imagination and this second part you added about a shifting light coming from above, dont you think it would be pretty hard to forget and disregard and not put it in your first post? i think you're just adding that. subconciously maybe. memories are a fickle friend.
