If I can help out the forum in any way, be it becoming a moderator or otherwise, I'd love to do so. I have over two years of salvia grow experience, a grow log, and as of now, one trip report. I'll be expanding with another log for some new strains I hope to acquire, and many many more trip reports to come. I have been a moderator on the old 4HV forum, a high voltage electronics forum, of which was extremely uptight and very well moderated, so I have some experience. I do enjoy reading the trip reports quite bit, so if a mod is needed there, I'd be all for it. Although if theres anything I can do, definitely let me know. I'll be adding to this post as time goes on so I can keep my "resume" up to date.

I'd be happy to give you privileges if there seems to be a board that needs it...do you think any do?

Also no need to be uptight around here, moderators gotta be laid back  Cool Tongue

Well, thats just it, I haven't seen much of a need for moderators in general for this forum. Of course I wouldn't be uptight about anything here, the old forum I mentioned was pretty hostile at times, but its really awesomely chill here. The grow logs are the only thing that I can actually see needing moderation at times, as it gets pretty darned off topic sometimes(my grow log is a good example, hehe), and alot of posts there could be their own topics elsewhere in the forum. Other than that, I wouldn't mind moderating in the trip reports board, but there dosen't seem to be a need for a mod. Those are my thoughts as of the moment, what do you think?

I think there's something amazing about salvia... I will post in more detail, but I think it contributes toward a better realization and implementation of appropriate boundaries, where those boundaries originate, and how to avoid crossing them.  So a forum consisting of salvia users would tend towards self-moderation.  It's beautiful.

Salvia goatse'd me!  Warn your children!  It's actually a good reason to keep it legal, your friendly neighborhood drug pusher doesn't do age verification.

You may be right JD...heheh.

Defenestrate, I'm thinking you might be able to help format experience posts. Really though, it would only be doing things like editing posts so they have the correct bold formatting. Would you want to do that?

Yeah, one amazing thing I've noticed is the distinct lack of flames and trolls... Smiley

It really seems so. I love the community we all share here. It's great.

I'd be up for it, for sure. Let me know what you're expecting, and I'll get on it. Grin

Hehe, I gave up on the fly swatter many times and moved on to a nice organic soap solution. Washes away the trolls pretty quick...without harming any of the foliage.
