Following in Elizabeth's footsteps
«
on:
August 13, 2008, 09:32:27 pm »
Elizabeth (bifster) posted one of these introductions earlier, and I was wanting to, but never did.
I joined in early June, so Liz, thanks for the inspiration!
So I'm Bobby/Bob/Bobert/whatever you want to call me that is similar to that or Bohmars.
I got Bohmars from a combination of my first middle and last names, and prior to today, I've only been a member as a user. However, today I got my plants and started a grow log! It's pretty exciting.
I move into college tomorrow and couldn't be more psyched. I enjoy watching and playing sports such as football and basketball, as well as the Olympics. My favorite sport/hobby is playing ultimate frisbee if you've heard of it.
I like to read and discuss philosophy and thing pertaining to the human thought process and belief mechanisms as well as the universe/world and how we relate to it; i.e. souls, higher powers, will, individuality, etc.
Just like bif, I'm open to chatting, whatever- but here's my formal hello!

Thanks for copying me JERK!
Kidding, kidding. I think you should always go by Bobert. Definitely sounds the best.
And hello, and welcome. And let us know how your new plants do! Have you named them yet?

Haha, well Bobert sounds a little silly to me, but it doesn't
bother
me.
I will probably be frequently updating my grow log, but I have to confess- they are nameless so far.
I'll probably come up with some outrageous names from a movie sometime soon, I'll put it in the grow log.
Thanks for the "warm" welcome.

Hello Salviasource!
Unless Ultimate Frisbee is the Same as Frisbee Golf: I've never heard of it.
Near me in Balboa Park (in the woods east of Morley Field) is a Deluxe Public Frisbee Golf Course! I think 18 holes: and it plays around, over, and through woods and canyons! It's a challenge!

That sounds awesome! I actually play disc golf as well, but it isn't the same as ultimate frisbee.
Ultimate frisbee is like a hybrid of handball, football, and soccer I guess. It's hard to explain, but it's great fun to play!

This little video seems the best way to get a feel for the sport if anyone wants to watch.
Seamac, I take it you play disc golf? That course sounds great!
