Looks like there's quite a few dorm growers, eh?  And bohmars, why did knitting remind you of Hermione?
As a sidenote, I stopped reading HP at the 4th book.  I'm more of a Tobias Wolff, Raymond Carver sort of reader now.  Read for the writing.  Arts boarding school will do that to you. Wink

I envy your ability to actually read. I stopped reading HP after the second book because my course reading went from 50 to 525 pages a week. Such is life.

Arcy, you could always be a "closet" dorm room grower.....lol

aw poor arcy!
well as far as being able to read, it's summer so no classes means much more time...but at school my homework was always just constant reading...I had 3 hours every day in creative writing classes too so all that was everyday was reading and writing, then reading homework for creative writing, then reading homework for academic classes--pretty much all history reading, european history...ugh i shudder just thinking about european history.  so i got a good bit of reading in, whether i wanted to or not!  not much time for leisure reading during the school year though.  good thing all my teachers were magnificent and really really smart, and assigned a lot of good writing to read!
