Salvia Buy/Sell/Trade

i was wondering if anyone had any different strains that i could get? All i got for strains is blosser so a different on would be cool.

also if someones willing to sell some of their cuttings of more blossers or other strains i would love to have more plants.

we should have a buy sell trade category, i would use it.

Here, here! I'd love to grow a Luna sometime. Siebert used to have the option of buying various strains on his site, but thats no longer there.

I am glad to see there is interest because I plan on selling cuttings of some of my more rare strains once they are big enough to continually produce clones. (and once I perfect the cloning process) I would like to have every strain that exists  I am close, but it is still a few months away from going into full swing. I also want to produce seeds and start new strains and sell those as well. I just love this plant so much and want it to be shared with anyone who has an interest. Of course I don't want to compete with Paradoxic's store here either as I am sure he wouldn't appreciate that  So I have to strike a happy balance. You can send me a message anytime to see if I have any clones available. Right now I have my first clones awaiting some new growth and to become root bound so I can do some "test" shipping. Once I know that my first clones have arrived and made it healthy I should have more for sale.

I tried to start up a Salvia trading site a few months ago but had to scrap my project due to monetary limitations...
I would greatly like to start up or be a part of a salvia trade site that allows people to trade locally and by strain.
If someone wants to establish a trade post like this, i will be willing to contribute plenty of my time to the promotion and upkeep of such a site

But my fantasy trade site would be targeted more towards salvia growers rather than the general public.

The site would be divided up by major cities. Portland, LA, San Diego, Las Vegas, ETC. Clicking on a city would allow you to chose whether you want to buy, sell or trade and each listing would include important information like strain, origin, growing substrate, exact location, availability, and price or items wanted for trade.
I think a site like this could work in tandem to salviasource.org. There are few sites out there as devoted to the salvia-obsessed as this one and even fewer vendor/trade sites comprehensive enough to cater to people who....know what they're talking about.

Hmm, well it is always worth a try, but I wouldn't think there is enough people interested in the specificity of a site dedicated only to buying/selling SD to make it worth your time. But that is just my 2 cents...

well im glad to see people actually want to have this as a category in the forums. I agree with the others that this could be a very good thing for this site. if other big name sites had user names on this site and offered discounts for the members on certain items this site could boom in just a matter of months, and as a web designer myself i also don't think you would be able to make a salvia buy/sell site work unless you could keep up with the big names on the big names on the net, which i think would prove to be very hard. But if you have the patiance and the money to set up such a site im not going to stop you but good luck .

My fantasy site is liiiiitle unrealistic....
....but look at how comprehensive some of the marijuana seed buy/sell/trade sites are.
If there ever comes a time when Salvia is illegal to consume but legal to possess and grow, my dream site will succeed. As you said, JARG and nickelz, right now there just isnt a market for such a forum.

I´m not sure how many people have actually made use of it, but you guys should help get it going.

Also I really want to create a topic that compares all the known strains of Salvia and also shows pictures of each strain. I know we have a number of pictures on the site already of various clones so if someone would like to start that topic it would be very much appreciated (and if you are not yet a contributor I would be happy to appoint anyone). I think the topic would best fit in the Knowledge -> General Info section. Here is some information Daniel Siebert has about some of the various strains:

i know we have a genetic exchange topic in the cultivation forums. but it would be much better if a new catagory was made and the genetic exchange plus a buy/sell/trade section was added.

i think the genetic exchange program would do better if it wasnt a sticky post . but thats just an idea
