Strain: Blosser
Lighting: CFL's
Grow Media/Soil Mix: none yet
Fertilizer: none yet
Temperature Range: 75 degrees F
Humidity: 55%
Started From: Clone
Start Date: 06/21/08

Other Details/Images:

Just took a little cutting today from my mother plant (see her grow log http://www.salviasource.org/forum/grow-logs/bayrat's-1st-salvia-grow/0/).

It is about 4 inches long.  I clipped the lower leaves and placed it in water to start rooting and will transplant in a few days just as I start to see root nubs.  It is far from the light and in a humidity chamber for the first week or so.

All I can say is, your plant looks great!

I love that little grow cave. What soil mix did you use to grow that large Salvia?

Thanks Paradoxic, the mother plant was bought from the same grower that supplies the SalviaSource.org shop.  Believe it or not I used cheap soil from the dollar store for it, STRAIT- no perlite added or anything.  I used MG organic for most of my cuttings since, but switched back to the dollar store stuff for this new grow to see if it was a fluke.

I need to update this grow soon, I took pics and will post soon.  The new cutting was put in the $1 soil with mycorhize and is doing great so far.

Thanks Bif, it's 3 months old now and even bigger than that pic now.  See her grow log-  http://www.salviasource.org/forum/grow-logs/bayrat's-1st-salvia-grow/0/

She puts out about a clone a week.
