Strain: Blosser
Lighting: 23w CFL
Grow Media/Soil Mix: Perlite at the moment
Fertilizer:
Temperature Range: 70 or so
Humidity: In humidity tent getting sprayed a few times a day
Started From: Clone
Start Date: 4/16/08

Other Details/Images:
Well this is my first grow, I have two plants from this site, still in the original shipping container is a humidity tent with the light on 16hours a day. I just need suggestions on how to proceed, I know soon I will need to repot, here are some pictures from yesterday Smiley

Sorry for the low quality of pictures, I still don't have my digital camera back. Should I remove the leaf in the last picture, it is pretty big and a little beaten up?

Sweet! You got some nice, big plants. Don't remove any leaves, Salvia will drop them when she is ready.

Just make sure to keep misting daily then you can transplant once your plant is ready. Good luck and welcome!

yeah your setup looks good, give her a week or so and let her know shes gunna get repoted. what kinda bulb have you got in that lamp? as those cfl's seem to give the best results and use less energy, especialy if you plan on running it all day. looks good! keep us updated

Thanks, she has been repotted now Smiley
It is a 23w (100w output?) CFL just in a standard light fitting Smiley

I repotted on thursday and there have been days when one of my plants has drooped but then perked back up again overnight, I have no idea why. The leaves still are limp from the shock of repotting I am guessing but she seems to be doing fine.

Sweet. So everthing is going fairly well

Newest questions.... sorry Sad

I dunno, but I think I have a problem, when I received the plant I noticed tears on the leaves but I discarded them thinking it was in the packing process or something, but I see that one small leaf (maybe an inch in length) has the left half of the leaf missing, and I think the tears have grown. Is this parasites? And what is the best way to get rid of them, I read the article on preventing parasites but I dunno of the best way to get rid of them if I do have them.

Number 2, my plant still has small particles of perlite on it from shipping is this ok?

Number 3, slight browning on the edges of leafs and a little bit on the main stem is ok isn't it?

And lastly, the "tear" has on one of the leafs gone through the main vein? of the leaf about 3/4 of the way down it, shall I just leave it and let it fend for itself or do I need to do something?

just ignore the tears

sally will discard the bad leaves.

as far as the perilite goes I just got them off when I misted the leaves.

The brown on the tips is just stress she will slowly loose these old leaves as she builds new ones.
