I've been posting alot in the regular forums so i thought i might as well start a grow log and get some more answers here

1st plant:
Strain:Blosser
Lighting:20w daylight CFL
Grow Media/Soil Mix: 2 parts pre fertilized potting soil. 1 part vermiculite, 1 part perlite
Fertilizer: going to use miracle grow
Temperature Range: no idea
Humidity: no idea
Started From: Clone
Start Date: November 15, 2007

Other Details/Images: my first one is pretty lanky with some good looking leaves and the stem is starting to straighten out now that i positioned the light better. also, near the base of the stem there are black streaks and a couple of things that look like hairs coming out...i could'nt get a good closeup pic tho. i just started to let them go without the humidity tent for an hour today so here is a recent pic:

Other Details/Images:this plant looks bushier than the other one, but this one's leaves are plagued with some black thing at most of the tips... it also seems to be eating some of the leaves but it's looking better:

They're gorgeous. I'd start pruning their tips soon though... Might wanna encourage branching ASAP Smiley

Those guys... Right where they meet the main stem. Pinch them off, and stake the plant up.

It will split into 2 stems at that point, and grow outwards/up.

If you saw my growlog, you'll see what I mean about pinching...

I've been doing it since they were about 5" tall, and damn are they ever bushy.

Yes I agree, these girls are very sexy.

Seems a little early to be pinching, but Arcy knows a lot better than me.

I would have agreed with you 6 months ago... But, after deciding just to go for it one morning... I've NEVER looked back  Shocked

well the i overlooked the blackening and after examining the plant a little bit i noticed it alot more. It seems to be on my lanky plant as well causing the edges to turn slightly brown and eating away some leaves. on my bushier one tho, it's alot worse; almost all the leaves have some brown on them and one leaf's tip is completely black. i don't know what it is or what i can do... here are 2 pics from both plants:

Lanky:

Bushy:

im going through the same problem, and it can spread quickly, the only way to stop it is to keep the soil moist, and a humidity dome on at all times, so if your acclimating it to your humidity stop. this is purely from my experience with this plague though, and im still  not sure what it is. but from the way it stops when i get alot of water and humidity around it, im guessing its just a sign of lack of water.
look what this has done to my plants.

and its alot worse now.

geez alright well mayb it's because i've started accumilitating it to less humidity... just let it go 2 hours without a dome

If it happens directly after an acclimation period, well... this is fairly normal Smiley

yep. Mist and re-cover overnight, and go for another 2 hours tomorrow.
