Whats the wattage/lumen output of the CFL? I have a clone chamber and the clones are only getting about 1200 lumens, 30 watts of light. They definitely could use a lot more, but the way I have it set up is the only way I could. Definitely in need of a bigger space though Tongue (for my 2' dual cfl fixture) Add no more than 60 Watts of CFL light. Which is 200 watt incandescent equivalent. one 42 watt cfl will be more than suffice. Multiple lower wattage bulbs would be optimal.

The only problem with too many CFL's is that they'll eventually cause too much heat. If you want more uniform growth, add more light bulbs. Smiley

So its week two and my sally is doing great. I was wondering if anyone has had success with a warm mist humidifier or is that over the top?

Salvia loves humidity, and your plant will be happier with it, so go for it. If I were going to grow strictly indoors, I would have a humidifier too.

Shade is your friend if heat is your enemy.

Plant where it's mainly shaded, like under a tree(s). Make sure that there is some sort of light though, plant with the sun (east-west), so if the tree is north or south, you'll be fine. Your plant will grow best if you plant under a tree that is north of your plant that allows either east or west light, the south face will help your plant grow when the sun starts to disappear between august-october. Before frost is when you want to harvest. I had my sally girl out last year up until middle november, which is very unusual for my location. Once some clones start popping their ugly heads, I'm going to move a few outside, I'll plant them beside my datura Cheesy
