Wow, thats pretty amazing...Salvia is quite incredible when it comes to rooting. You should show us a picture when you can.

Best I could do tonight, one thing for sure... once the roots start forming, they take off in no time.
I know with the hydro, I noticed by time I got back from class one day, they grew about half an inch  Shocked

This little guy is going into some dirt tommorrow.

Not much new growth from last week. The right side of the plant has become dominant.

I changed the hydro setup once again. The gatorade cap was choking the roots, so I just cut the top off of a 20z bottle and didn't replace the cap. Now the roots on her shouldn't have to "find" an opening, it's a free shot straight down.

And here's the mini cutting that I rooted.

Not at all, we're all here to help each other  Smiley

How long did that cutting take to root?

A little less than two weeks, about the same time as the larger cutting that's in the hydro setup. The smaller cutting was VERY picky about humidity though, if I hadn't put a plastic deli cut over it to act as a humidity tent it would have more than likely died. The first night I didn't think it'd need one, when I woke up the next morning it had wilted to bad, it was bottom up, the base wasn't even in the water  Shocked

If you have a plant that is looking like root rot is taking over, take a [mini] cutting off of it before it kills the whole plant.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the cutting in the shotglass I had, it eventually just rotted...
