Welcome!

That looks OK now that you've taken it out of the direct sun.

Thanks for welcome!
I was on holiday, so in my room, there was a low temperature (I guess it droped at about 15C) and also I've used a "towel in the water tank" as watering method. Unfortunately, it seems it somehow damaged stem.
Leaves looks fine.

But the stem get brown a lot more:

Actually, I don't know if this is stem rot, because it isn't drippy or wet, but hard and dry, Can somebody help me, please? I think the best way'll be to carefully watch it and if it gets worse, take emergency cuttings. What do you think?
Thanks for any help.

What you have is the natural process of the stem hardening in order to help it better support the upper part of the plant. Similar to a tree's bark. As long as it stays firm your fine.

I came in here expecting to see some sally in poor condition, but yours look fine, Mrkva. They'll recover nicely, good luck with that.

Nice Sallies,

get that bigger pot ready, those roots grow fast.

Today picture - she is growing faster than I expected.

But I have two questions:
What about pinching? Do you think, it's the time to do it?
And secondary... What about making clones from leaves? Anyone tried doing this?

Leaves don't work for cloning. People on here have done it. It appears that salvia needs part of a stem to produce roots from (not the same as the thick vein of the leaf).

Sorry for later update - I just wanted to wait how the pinching will be successful - and here are the results:

The whole plant - nothing much to see, however

Detail on the top - it seems that two branches each with two small leaves are growing. So I guess it was successful. Thanks!

And after another month, I think she is growing pretty fine (on the side, there is 30cm ruler, to compare dimensions). But I really wish some side branches, to made cuttings Smiley

How big is that pot? Your plant looks root bound to me and would probably explode with growth given a new container.

0.7l... Well, but bigger pot won't hurt anything, right? Smiley
UPDATE: Yes, you were correct... Inside the pot, there was almost nothing but roots. Now, she sits in nice 2.5l pot - and I've also made some changes in the soil composition:
- again 2:2:5 sand:perlite:mulch
- I've added some pine bark on the top of the pot, because we have an alkalic water in our region.
- also, the entire pot is covered by keramzit/hydraton (I don't know with what name it's sold in the US, it's just expanded clay), to keep moisture in.
