He was nice enough to tell me what happened but not very sympathetic.. I ended up spending about $40 on supplies to get everything put back together. I am just bummed that the largest stalks were the ones broken off. I had high hopes of them flowering. In the end it will all be all right just a setback, or if I end up with six new healthy plants maybe a happy accident.. time will tell.
Thanks

I wonder if his dog copped a buzz... if it did, there's a good chance the critter will stap away from it from now on, especially with the foul taste! I would have been SOOO ticked off!

Bummer!
I hope you get new outdoor plants from this.
But you are advised to put your plants where neighbors cats and dogs don't go. This neighbors-beast-breaks-my-plants story happens about monthly...
Oh, and I've had long, rooting cutting, start flower tops while still in the mug IF the light conditions don't change.

By now you've seen flower stalks start to form?
