Strain:[owens and luna]
Lighting:[natural, about 15 hours]
Grow Media/Soil Mix:[perlite/ soil]
Fertilizer:[none yet]
Temperature Range:[70 f]
Humidity:[About 80]
Started From:[clone]
Start Date:[6-5-09]

Other Details/Images: I need a little help identifying these strains from Drift- he sent me these wonderful plants- He said That 2 were owens, one was a luna- But 3 plants came, in pretty good condition, not labeled, one with the top snapped off-which I'm now rooting in a old bottle light-proofed with aluminum foil.
Here are the 4 plants with their domes removed:
#1 owens

#2 Luna

#3 Owens again

#4 This is the piece that fell off in the mail from #3 that I'm now attempting to root myself.

---------Updates will be soon to come-----------

Yes, you IDed them right. The leaf shape gets a lot more obvious once they grow, that is a very small luna. They're all pretty rootbound, so once you think they've recovered, transplant them and they'll explode with growth.

That luna has some MASSIVE leaves (congrats on getting it to root drift), should start growing like mad when it recovers.

Haha, thanks. I went 10:11 on getting Lunas to root :p

Btw, I'm still pretty pissed the largest Owens had its top snapped off en route. I've shipped so many plants without having anything like that happen, so perhaps I'll have to ask mr Jarg for advice.

Haha. Well my advice is to stop shipping and offer local pickup only. I have had much better luck with this method. But if you HAVE to ship, sometimes these things just happen no matter how well you pack the plant. I've come across the same issues. 99% of the time the plants are fine, but for some reason, that 1% still has something go wrong during shipping.

I'm cool with the plant snapping- I'm probably gonna set a solid clone and have a plant that is pinched- 2 shoots are coming from the stem Grin

UPDATE: hi all, I recently bought a mini greenhouse and had it outside with a nice shade cover- I got the humidity high and put my 3 plants in it, they did fine and I went to the store for a few hours, the shade cover fell off, and my plants got 100 degrees hot and direct sunlight for about an hour. This was a few weeks ago, and I recovered all of these plants- and here they are:
Here is Owens #1;It only lost a leaf or 2- but wilted bad at first. :

Owens #2 is doing good and geting new shoots:
And the luna lost all of its leaves, and got a few new ones, it grew a few more inches:

All of these plants are doing very well, they are just starting to grow very fast and get very developed root systems. The owens I was rooting rooted, and I gave it to a friend so he could also cultivate.
