Nawwwww, Pistachios show too much butt crack for my tastes ... sleazy gutter nuts. I hate anything I have to shell myself.

Lets see: I'll have to get back to you on this.

I've been thinking I was Coconuts all this time ...

I caught this beast going over the outer wall and into the bug rich lushness of my garden ...

I figured he'd be more interested in eating bugs rather than eating my Salvia plants so I audibly welcomed it to my little garden.

Down the wall he went and onto the saddle of the abandoned bicycle ...

He's about a foot long and a couple inches wide ...

He wasn't a Skink (Not shiny enough), Not an Iguana (No Back spines), and I don't think he was an Anole either (head shape is wrong).

I'm praying he takes up residence in the garden and eats lots of slugs & bugs!

What type of Lizard is he? Anyone know?

My dearest friend and mentor "Ichinen" identified him/her as a "California Alligator Lizard".

I went and looked that style of lizard up and found that it comes in several interesting varieties or 'subspecies' ...

One of which is called "The San Diego Alligator Lizard" and here is a page about it:

I will go out and sing to it in the dark: I will invite it to make it's home amongst my jungle!

Happy Easter!

Here is a small part of my garden as it looked on Easter Day:

Sally is the name of the 10 foot tall Salvia plant in the WHITE Pot!

I got down in front of the Plant named "Sally" today and Aimed upwards at the junction of the tarp and the roof. Plant is almost twice as tall as me!

I love these 3 plants dearly but that 10 foot tall plant actually SCARES Me sometimes! That's the biggest blessed Salvia Divinorum plant I've ever seen!

All those plants grow about a foot a month now - Mostly outward because there is a limit to the largest pole I can buy and I despair of ever 'pinching the top' off of the giant ones now. There's only a few more inches of 'upward' that this one tallest plant can go and then it's run out of headroom again.

I think it's a little late to try to 'pinch the top' off of them now. And can you imagine this thing in a humidity tent?!?

This photo from the DEA makes me LAUGH SO HARD ...

That part along the top - and in the upper right - showing how a human would tower over a helpless Salvia plant ... how harmless looking!

(Awwwwww ... what a cute little shrub! {leans over to pet its top ...})

(Sound of Shrub: growling ...  "FEED ME!" )

Just look through My posts in the Gallery to see how much they grew in the last month or two!!

Shocked  i'm getting a little scared now ..  Cool  they plan on growing all summer long, whilst biding their time - and practicing looking innocent, and then suddenly taking over San Diego County this fall! I'm sure of it! )

Long ago, when I lived in Sacramento, we once found one of those alligator lizards in our house.

Time for more Photos?

Anyone want to see what's happening in my Garden?

I stand in front of my plants ...

Three Bug eaters live in my backyard at night ...

My Biggest Plant would be twice as tall as me IF her branches were straight up

instead of spreading out ...

Happy Gardening!
