Does it disintegrate and feel slimy if you rub it between your fingers?  If it does you need to take it away from all the others IMMEDIATELY.  I don't care if you try to save it, just don't have it in the same container.  A lot of rots are very contagious, you don't even want to use the same pot again unless you wash it and spray a bleach solution first.

Theelementja, what kind of soil mix are you using? Did you mix in any extra perlite or anything to improve drainage? Salvia needs good drainage. Also you must have some way for the water to drain out of the soil. Its always a good idea, I would say necessary, to have holes in the container you potted and elevate the container over something so that water can easily drain. If Salvia sits in stagnant water you are asking for root rot.

I used a extra two cups of perlite when I first did it and then when they came in I placed some around the roots for extra drainage. Also I poked a couple of hole up top and bottom. Also is it ok if I place the cup inside of the container for humidity?

Tools that have come in contact with infected plants must be thoroughly disinfected immediately after use. Never use infested tools to take cuttings from healthy tissue.

Yeah I decided to toss out the sick twin. To much of a chance for infection. Thanks for the help guys.

Well I am confused, its been a couple of days and she hasn't straightened out yet, should I be worried?

If it doesn't have roots it will have trouble taking up enough water.  Does it still have big leaves on it?

It's Corazon, she has a alot of 1 inch and 2 inch roots, she looks fine its just she wont straighten out.

This is her, she is the one on the far right. I took this three days ago and she still hasnt moved.

corazone wont straiten out without a stick, now. shes goten fallen over, you could leaver her like that though, eventualy she would put out roots and then 5 stems, for you to baby!.. up to you though, you coudl just stick her and leave her upright but mabey she wants you to make cuttings

Sweet, thanks for the info. Yeah I'll keep her like that, It looks cool I just wanted to make sure it wasn't bad or a sign of some sort of problem.

She CAN straighten out.  Look at my growlog for proof that it does happen.  Sally has always had a gentle bend in her stem, and now she is very straight.  She was only staked for about four hours.

Those are all roots. The roots forming on the sides of your planted salvia are Aerial roots, attempting to absorb moisture from the air.

The roots growing from the clone that's placed in water, pretty much means you're almost ready to transplant her! Wait till they're about 0.5" to 1" long, and put her in soil!

So does that mean that there isn't enough water in the soil or that I should cut down on the misting?
