Notice where it looks like two leaves are growing together, could this be deformed growth?

It happens sometimes, I have seen pictures of salvia on this site that produce a 2 in 1 leaf. I would not be concerned unless the leaves become discolored and deformed, then that could indicate a root pest.

It looks pretty cool, but harmless.
I am thinking that the big leaf and the two smaller leaves do not share a node, the big leaf probably sprouts from a node developing beneath the two smaller leaves.
