"Magic Mushrooms" and LSD

My friend bought them and they were like 60 or 70 bucks for like 6 caps an 2 stems so i got 4 caps an he got the 2 caps and the stems and the guys said there "special" mushrooms that will make u trip for sure so we didnt eat them cuz my friend said to break piece off on abosrb it through ur cheek and under ur tongue so we did that for about 45 minutes an it was insane. to insane!

Having tried street acid more times than I care to count, and 'shrooms quite a few times, I prefer the 'shrooms, at least you know what you're getting into. I'd chuck both for some bueno mescaline though, best hallucinogen out there(pun intended).

For me shrooms and acid were like taking a shortcut through thousands of reincarnations and arriving at enlightenment in under an hour.  Trouble is, with that much energy coursing through you, you tire out quickly, and both drugs last like 8-12 hours or longer, so you get pretty burnt out by the time you come down.  I always felt drained for several days afterward.
From a spiritual point of view, I don't think the average person should take these more than one or two time in a lifetime- they are that powerful, or at least they were for me.
It's been 30 years since I had either.  If I had any compunction to do them again, I'd pick shrooms, and I'd go up to Seattle to pick Liberty Caps (Psilocybe Semilanceata) myself so I'd be certain what I was getting.  However, identifying wild mushrooms is a science unto itself and if you misidentify a mushroom and eat a poison one, you risk destroying your liver and kidneys and possibly dieing.
Then of course with LSD, you have no control over who or how it's made unless you do it yourself, and can't know if it even is LSD or some other weird drug, or if there are toxic chemicals in it from the greasy black market chemists that don't know atomic mass from the size of a teaspoon.  Very risky.

I agree with you. Shrooms shouldnt be taken just to get fucked up like weed or X or 2C-B or something like that. AN yah acid is very risky.
