Based on previous reasonably "scientific" discussions here, can I assume that there's at least a few researchers/scientists here?

In that case, maybe you can point me in the right direction. I'm wondering what journals would be good to read, or have a high content of articles related to psychoactive herbs or the tribal use of herbs in a "spiritual" context?

The only one I've looked at so far is the Journal of Ethnopharmacology, but that seems to be more related to medicinal applications of plants (eg digitalis, atropine, etc) rather than specifically pyschoactive stuff. There's only about 4 articles about salvia on there, and there's got to be more than that around.

What journals are you looking at for your research, Paradoxic?

Cheers.

I would take a look at the encyclopedia of psychoactive plants. It has hundreds of pictures and complete history of their uses and rituals. It is a little pricy though at $125.00 but well worth it if your into it.

I was thinking more for keeping up to date with new research, but a good suggestion nonetheless.

I think I have a copy of that in pdf format somewhere...
