Forum Bug?

On the following page: http://www.salviasource.org/forum/index.php?topic=778.0 I noticed there's a bit of a bug in naming posts... Namely, Paradoxic's name and avatar is next to a post I made...

Anyone else see this? or am I tripping

Its not a bug, you must have accidentally clicked Modify instead of Quote and you replaced my post with yours, lol. Look at the bottom of the post:

Since you are a cultivation contributor you have permission to moderate that forum. Not a big deal though, that post wasn't very important.

I "quoted" Sea Mac's post, added mine, then it showed that I modified his original post...

The only way I can actually quote someone, is to copy their post, reply in the thread, then paste what I copied previously within [ Quote] tags... This happens every time I post in the cultivation forum...

Weird, seems like an SMF bug, maybe we should report it. I tried quoting myself and it worked fine. Are any other the other mods having trouble quoting.

Well for now are you ok just manually quoting? Another thing you could do is use the quote links on the topic summary on the post reply page (under the text box). Sorry about that, hopefully SMF can fix it in the next version.

Yeah, no worries... I actually prefer manually quoting as I can easily do a multiquote!

I too, can quote myself... But not other people without it screwing around.

But, I just wanted to know if it was me or something else.

I found a different bug relating to your gallery.

Clicking "Modify" and changing an incorrect caption messes up the display page.

Up until now I've just hand recoded the HTML and repaired it myself. But it might be more effective to remove the div tag from the template ...

Yeah its because when you modify it removes the functionality of the HTML, because I have HTML on the forum turned off. This is why I removed the ability for member to edit their posts in the Gallery, but mods still can. I dont want to turn HTML on, so just delete your image if theres something wrong with it or repost it. You could also just message me and I can deal with it as well.

Yeah, I'm not sure what went on there...I'm trying to figure it out. Repair boards didnt work  It seems like it might have happened because he posted with a Blackberry...I dont know. I will post in the SMF forums sometime soon. If you have any ideas please share them...or anyone else.
