How long does salvia stay good?

Hi all,
Due to the fear of salvia becomming illegal, I was going to purchase a kilo of leaf. Before I did buy, I was wondering how long salvia would be good for or does it go bad. Or if anyone has any ideas please let me know.

It will keep for quite some time, probably at least 5 years, probably many more than that. Leaves will slowly lose potency over time, to preserve them best put them in an air-tight container out of any light and in a cool temperature (the cooler the better). If you keep them in the freezer it will keep for an extremely long time.

Cool thx paradoxic. I just wanted to be sure before I had it shipped. I hope to make 3.5 ounces of 10x with the kilo and then ziplock it and put it in the freezer. Thanks for the help

Sounds perfect. Don't zip lock though. Use a sealed glass masonry jar if at all possible. The biggest killer of Salvinorin A seems to be UV exposure. Keep them light tight if possible!
I also just bought a kilo of leaf
