Where is Salvia grown commercially? Are there Salvia plantations in Oaxaca?
I think i once read something about large amounts of Salvia being produced in Singapore but haven't been able to find much information on the internet about Salvia producers.
There's a lot of Salvia being bought and sold right now. Where is it grown?

Thats an interesting question and I am not entirely sure. I know that a lot of the commercial stuff is still grown in Oaxaca, but I'm sure lots more is grown elsewhere. I'd be interested to know more about this as well.

i have wondered this many nights. my best guess would be oaxaca for most, bu tlie i said ive thought about it many times. especially about purple sticky. big warehouse, massive hydro setup. with a lab attached to it. sounds like a money maker. and considering how much salvia they put out its not out of the question. they may even have plants that rival seamac's in their hydro systems (maybe Smiley seamac's need to be classified as salvia with elephantiasis!)

I actually know a guy that cultivates Salvia for bulk sale (10kg and up) who lives in Mexico.

He farms in soil under a huge shade screen. I got one of my kilograms from him (2400mg of pure salvinorin A from that kilo, VERY happy).

paradoxic dont you get YOUR salvia from somewhere? U apparently have
tons of it lol....

I always wonder where most of these botanical companies get their herbs from...i doubt they grow all of them themselves.
