One thing my site could really do with is a weekly/monthly roundup of salvia/(cannabis, or all drugs) news. I've been looking into it and decided I don't have the time to do it myself, what with trying to run a retail business AND do a degree, so I came to the best salvia resource I could find (here) to ask them (you lot) if anyone wants to do it for me?
Right now, I have two feeds on my site:
Coffeesh0p News and
Coffeesh0p.org Dev Blog. So far, if anything interesting involving salvia occurs in the big media (like bbc news, new scientist, etc), I'll cover it in the first news feed. What I intend to do is set up another blog/news feed for salvia/other drug news in exactly the same format. IE, archive, RSS feed, comments, latest posts, etc.
So, what I was wondering is: would any of you lot, or maybe all of you (in a little team or something?) like to write one post a week or month about the goings on in the salvia community? This includes things like new salvia research, salvia's publicity, new bans & legislation - that sort of thing. I imagine the best source for info like that is newsgroups? No idea. The thing is, I don't know enough about salvia to be able to do a proper job of it, but I think you guys might, if you're up for it.
In return, you'd get a little bit of text about yourself (or this place as a whole) and links to whatever you're affiliated with on the main page of the blog, like the two I linked to above, and of course I encourage using the resulting RSS feed on your own sites, and maybe even this one too. If it was done properly, there's no reason that our blog (your posts hosted on my blog script thing) couldn't become the leading online resource for salvia divinorum.
If anyone's even remotely interested, let me know and we'll work towards making it happen!
