Well I just joined the forum a couple of days ago and want to say it is a great website!!! Yall have put up some great posts to learn from and don't worry I have absorbed everything like a sponge!!! But anyways I have not  been able to find the answer to this question anywhere bc since it is still legal in most places people always say "dont worry about the drug testing bc its legal, they wont test for it" Well I wana know do they have a test for the salviron A? Also I have not found the answer to how long it stays inyour body for, I have read that it metabolizes very quickley but there wasnt a time frame. By the way I have a plant coming tommorow so I will put what I have learned to the test. Grin

Salvinorin A is not tested in any standard test. I would imagine it could be, at GREAT expense, tested specifically, but I seriously doubt that would ever happen.

Well that makes me think whats the point of them making it i llegall. I mean do you think they will really screen this drug in tests or what about the 5 0 how will they even know what it is if you carry it in small amounts to where it doesnt even look like anything. I think this makeing it ilegall thing is stupid.  Angry

Many drugs are exactly the same way, and it hasn't stopped them...

However, I plan on "hiding" Salvinorin A on flavored tobacco when the drug finally becomes illegal in my area.

Little research has been done thus far on how long salvinorin A stays in the system. After all it is not part of any standardized drug screen, and I do not think that it will ever be.  Undecided  It would be very hard to look for due to the very low dosage(200 to 500ug). It's effects are also rather short lived.

And despite what the media and political types may say, SD is NOT a new MJ, crack, meth or LSD. These paranoid media morons are just so damn ignorant, or just plain stupid, that they do not know the difference.

On the medical front lines, in the ERs, we do not even see SD related incidents. Alcohol is still the #1 associated with drug overdose and injury.
Stimulants like cocaine and meth are next on the list. Opiates and tranquilizers are next as far as ER related incidents go. DXM, LSD and PCP are rather rare as for ER related incidents, but I've seen those drugs as issues in the ER setting before.

Demand is what determines which drugs get tested for, and salvinorin is highly unlikely to ever be popular enough to generate that level of demand. Even if it did the metabolites aren't likely to show up in urine in quantities that a reagent test could detect, and the reason reagent tests are the standard is cost. Short of a spinal tap I doubt that it could be detected anyway.

Yes, it would be like testing for LSD. There are tests to look for it, but it is very hard to detect/find. Even in cases that the person did take LSD. It is pretty much gone with in 24  hours, and the dose is too small to pick up well.

though it does create spinal fluid build up (the reason you have a stiff neck the next day -- other than the fact your head is on a bobble and you are constantly straining) its mostly a myth that it actualy builds up and stays in your collumb, or between your vertibre in bubbles (ive heard that one a few times)

I've seen no evidence to support a temporary or longterm increase in CFS pressure due to LSD-25 usage.

LSD is metabolized fairly quickly, with a plasma level half life of around 5 hours... As a reversible agonist of several HT receptors, longterm storage of the drug makes no biological sense.

99.9% of drug myths people have "heard" are wrong. Period.
