The funny thing is you're a random guy on a website and you already know that correlation does not equal causation. Perhaps you could explain this to the dumbfuck  writer the difference. Here's her stellar logic:

-kid is severely depressed and on anti-depressants known to cause suicidal behavior
-said kid takes salvia
-kid offs himself

A normal person would conclude that most likely it had something to do with the anti-depressants, lack of parenting or various other factors. This douche instead uses it vilify a drug that is one of the safest naturally occurring substances on earth.

I'm a rather Peacefull person, and have no problem with people having a Different thought Process than mine. But to be honest, People this thick need to be lit on fire. these People are the reason we need to bring eugenics back.  Or perhaps we should get her to try some salvia?

Brett's Death is very sad. It is tough to be a teen these days. Salvia Divinorum would not cause his death. As a parent you have the responsibility of letting your kids know what is allowed and whats not in your home. Many have found this plant to be spiritual, enlightening and healing. Myself along with the millions of other responsible adults that partake in the salvia experience are disappointed with the irrational prohibition of this medicinal plant. Teach your kids and spend time with your kids. Quit blaming your teens problems on what could be another persons key to self development and exploration of the human mind. I believe that prescription drugs, cigarettes, and alcohol are misused more than Salvia Divinorum. I think that it would be wrong to make these every day substances illegal,in turn you should respect salvia divinorum in the same way.
