I just wanted to know... um if there was any news on this?

anything?

I  heard that they were doing a study on it. I don't know if they ever had any results.

Yeah, I'm also very curious about this.
I was starting to get worried, but my plants will be here eventually!

I don't care AS MUCH what they do now, I'll still have it.

Those assholes aren't going to decide what I do and don't do.

You don't have to be psychic to guess what their study will eventually reveal, salvia=hallucinogen=bad for you. They'll shut down access to it just as they try to shut off everything else they deem harmful, though they won't make much progress since there are no illicit salvia cartels to wage war against, and busting some schmo with a couple of plants in his basement isn't worth their time. The greater threat will come from the state and local level as it always has. Remember, a secret is no longer a secret if two people know it. Nuff said?  Wink

I disagree, I think if they were going to make it illegal they would have already. It seems they are leaving it up to the states to decide. If we keep fighting bans at the state level I am very confident that Salvia can remain legal, for the most part.

Well put Paradoxic! if we keep fighting at the state level I think at the very least we can win a "sale to persons of at least 18 years of age" bill instead of banning it completely. And remember, just because some states have banned it, you can still get a petition going in those states to have the bill changed. And if you feel your Senator and Representative aren't reflecting your views, vote them out!

With as many legislators quoting "YouTube videos" I think someone needs to make a comparison of Alcohol vs Salvia. Show drunk guys beating their wives vs some kid laughing in his bedroom after smoking Salvia.

To me it is a no brainer...Salvia should remain legal!

As long as individual states keep banning it, there will always be interest in banning it at the federal level.
