I found a clip of Judge Napolitano talking about the abuses of civil liberties perpetrated by police in the US, and the lay-down-and-take-it attitude of much of the U.S. public.
For anyone unfamiliar with Napolitano, he is definitely NOT any kind of kook, he is one of the most brilliant legal minds in the U.S. today. He's also not prejudiced against Republicans or Conservatives, in fact, he is an OLD SCHOOL conservative... the type where Conservative means sticking to the Constitution the way it was ORIGINALLY written instead of the LIBERAL interpretations the Neocons are prone to.
Actually the Neocons have just quit bothering about that old dusty hemprag entirely, but anyway, listen for yourself.
http://prisonplanet.com/audio/110208napolitano.mp3 This isn't specifically about Salvia, but it IS educational as far as what Police may do to salvia growers if salvia becomes scheduled. If you feel it goes better in another forum, or gone from salviasource entirely it won't offend me at all.
I think it's appropriate though with the elections coming up and the DEA will probably do all their business after the inauguration or when new congressmen and senators take office. They may wait for new attorneys and judges to be appointed, but I think '09 or '12 will be the year they update their scheduling.
