Bare cutting(s) arrived in excellent shape, in a lightweight but effective shipping contraption, with a very generous bonus added to my order. Plants are doing fine, rooting in soil.

He ordered some unrooted cuttings. We started offering those a little while ago.

Shouldn't they be in water then...
I've NEVER had a cutting root successfully in soil.

Hmm, I'll pick up some root hormone and see if that works next time

I've tried it without hormone and it never really took off

I had one that did well for a few weeks (i could tell it was getting established (new growth ect, and then i over watered it and it rotted from the bottom up
