That's strange. I'm worried for the supplier... We've had a perfect track record so far. Somethings definitely up, as this isn't like them. I wouldn't worry too much about your investment though.

From now on though, I'd never send cash in the mail, registered or not, there's no way of getting your funds back if something does go wrong...

I've PM'ed Paradoxic about it, he's the man in charge, and he's the one that'll be able to tell us something. So, we'll sit and wait.

Well that's definitely good.

Well, I don't think there's much left I can say.

Let's let the powers that be step in from here.

Sorry for all of this csferraro, I had no way of knowing that was your payment at the post office. I had no way of knowing that was your letter, if I did I would have picked it up a lot earlier. No one has ever required a signature like that before and frankly I see no reason for it.

Anyway sorry for the wait, your plant will get out next week. In addition, I am sorry for taking so long to respond to these I just went on a little vacation over the weekend and I came back with a lot to deal with.

brandonamito, I apologize about the delay...not sure exactly whats going on but its being looked into. I will keep in touch with you through email. Again, things got a little crazy when I went out of town for a few days so sorry for all of this. One more thing, it would be great if you could update this feedback once you get your plant.

Well I'm not waiting any more!
Here it is!

As you can see it's plainly marked with "UP" arrows and "Fragile" yet when my postwoman handed it to me she was holding it upside down!! Roll Eyes
But it was very well packed and only a little Perlite fell out of the pot. It's a little droopy but that is to be expected.
Thanks!

Grin Finally got an email response and it looks like everything will be in next week.  I figured someone might have been on vacation or something, but I've had so many bad experiences buying things online I've become acutely sensitive to the warning signs: no package after a week, not returning emails, ect.

Really? Where else have you done business? I've never had a bad experience outside of eBay and Paypal before.

Mind sharing?

Mostly ebay/half.com, but just a couple months ago dimout.com.  I placed an order in january, a week or two went by without confirmation of shipment, so I emailed them.  Couple weeks later without reply, I disputed the charge with my credit card.  They wouldn't reply to emails for 40 days or so, and the credit card company ruled in my favor and gave me a refund.  Then the company finally emails me asking if i want my order.  I say fine, as long as I'm not charged for shipping.  Got the package in a week later, half of the order was wrong, but so far they haven't tried charging my credit card again, and quite frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if they forgot about it all together.  Horrible experience, but I guess it worked out in my favor.

Out little sally arrived today! She is in perfect shape! Wasn't drooping at all! I put her in a humidity tent because it is dry here because we use electric heat (western New York) it is raining today which should help. It is chilly in our house so I figured the warmer tent environment and humidity would be good for the first few days then slowly get her used to our house climate.

Had a top piece that was broke off so I put it in a glass of water so little sally will hopefully have a playmate soon!

Is this the right thing to do for her?

Thats great! It's a long way to NY. Hopefully one of our experts will chime in about the top piece. do you have a digital camera? Maybe you should start a grow log with some pictures of her and her offspring.

Hey Stargazer,

I already took some pics and uploaded them to the gallery. My webcam doesn't take the best pics but they turned out ok. I plan to start a grow log over the weekend and post it by monday.

Saw your pics! Your plant looks just like the one I got last week.(Maybe they're off the same plant!) Looking forward to following your progress in your grow log! Wink
